Friends Group & Book Donations

Friends of the Library
Through various fundraising and volunteer efforts, our Friends Group helps build and support the Library. They raise money to maintain the library’s budget, provide funding for the summer reading program, and contribute volunteer time for events throughout the year including the annual "Fall for Your Library" fundraiser. Our Friends also help with community partnerships and engagement and participate in volunteering at the book sales and managing donated materials. We couldn't do what we do without them!

Book Sales
In addition to our ongoing book sale near the front desk, the library hosts two large book sale events every year in the Spring and Fall. Check our Events Calendar for specific dates. Our Friends Group manages the sale, along with select teen volunteers to help set up and break down the event. Fill in the application below if you are interested in joining the Friends Group and volunteering at the book sale.

Book Donations
The library accepts donations of gently used materials during open hours for our book sale. Please note we can NOT accept any of the following: VHS, cassettes, LPs, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, reference books, National Geographic, Reader's Digest Condensed books, magazines over two years old, or anything significantly damaged, soiled, or moldy. Thank you for your support!

Join the Friends Group
New members are always welcome! Beginning January 2022, quarterly meetings will be held at the library for anyone who wishes to attend. Membership privileges include early entry to the book sale. Fill out the form below to apply to join the Friends Group today!
